“ Tiny place for in resturaunt eating but has a large take out business too! If you're new to Thai try the Massamon Curry -a sweet coconut flavor with some of that Thai peanut flavor and just carrot slices, onion slices and potatoes in the tasty massamon sauce -you can add tofu or chicken or shrimp or scallops or even beef -I had it almost once atleast with almost every protein ... it was GREAT -every time! Really delicious and can get various levels of spice if you like it spicy -Sometimes you just point at the menu and they know from that what you want -I have found that sometimes there was a language boundary between waiter and customer but there is usually atleast one staff person who can always help the situation -Service is good and the variety is plenty and always fresh and delicious! ”
“ One word: delicious! We were looking for a restaurant inbetween both of us so we didn't need to drive far. I am always hesitant going off by reviews or stars to pick a restaurant. Our experience was wonderful this first time (we are looking to come back!) My boyfriend ordered off a smaller menu Pad Kra Pao (Minced chicken, bell peppers, string beans, herbs, Thai chili, Topped with fried egg.) And I ordered the Thai green Curry Noodles (lo mein noodles, chicken, bell peppers, string beans, bamboo shoots & basil choice of red or green curry). Both were absolutely delicious! There were plenty of green/red bell pepper slices, strong beans & chicken throughout the noodles. In my opinion, the green curry was rich (not watery). I am not sure if the starch off the noodles helped with thickening the sauce or not. However, that made for a satisfying bite each time. I did cut up the bell pepper and string beans smaller to make each bite have a good mix. For dessert we ordered the coconut custards. There were three tiny bowls filled with the warm custard. Just enough to get someone sweet to share and doesn't make you feel stuffed. The wait staff were very attentive. They did stop by to refill waters and drinks. We both like to share our meals and the wait staff didn't hesitate to get another full size plate so it would be easier to share. It seems like all staff pitches in to assist one another. I enjoyed sitting in the little "booth" room (basically a table surrounded by room dividers fashioned to make a little private dining experience. The restaurant's front parking lot was filled. However, there were plenty of cars parked behind & across the side street in a larger parking lot. ”
“ Our go to local Thai food spot. The red chicken curry had a nice kick. Crab rangoon with dipping sauce was a great crunchy appetizer. The shrimp pad thai was flavorful. Food was ready promptly. ”
“ Wonderful experience! As soon as we entered the restaurant we pleasantly greeted and promptly given a table. The server was very professional and attentive. We tried the Chicken Satay and shrimp dumplings for appetizers and they were both out of this world. The chicken was very nicely seasoned and cooked to perfection. The dumplings were very tasty and served with a slightly thicker dipping sauce that stuck to them and provided a great flavor. We then went on to have 3 different duck dishes and one Shrimp Pad Thai. Again, everything was delicious, but I think my favorite dish was my daughters Drunken Noodle with crispy duck. Absolutely outstanding! I would highly recommend giving them a try. ”
“ I have lived in this area a long time and this was my first time trying this place. The food was absolutely delicious. So authentic. The spices and flavors were on point. I can't wait to try the fried rice next. The service was quick, but makes sense since it was pretty empty. I guess that's why I always over looked this place because it's never truly busy. Excited to eat more dishes from here. I love Thai food. ”
“ It's been a minute since I was last in Thai Chef & Noodle Fusion on local Route 1, Penndel, PA. After exhausting every Thai restaurant within a 30 mile radius, it was time for a revisit. Entering, first impression was that it was amazing how much a fresh coat of dark turquoise paint can enhance the attractiveness of a room. They had rearranged the privacy screens from inside wall to window, but otherwise it was as nice as before. My son and I were seated at the first window deuce and promptly attended by the first of several lovely servers with menus and water. The house was about 70% full, but seemed to slowly empty during the hour or so we were there. The menu was more elaborate than remembered, with more entrees, apps and soups. I ordered the Healthy Soup (mild flavor with many veggies, shrimp and strips of chicken), Drunken Noodles (Pad Kee Mao), while the young dude went with Thai Wings (w dipping sauce) and Red Curry Fried Rice. I didn't go 'Thai Spicy,' deciding at the last second to tone the heat down for a change. It was all great. The soup had a warm, fresh flavor that actually felt healthy, suiting its name. All the greens, shrimp and chicken were happy in the pot. The flat rice noodles even at 2 chili pepper heat, had a strong taste with plenty of onion, green/red pepper, carrot and tender chicken. Liked it a lot, but it would have been even better with higher quality veggies beyond the root variety and common bells. Visually, it really needed snow peas, green beans or other sweet greens for variety and added texture and accent flavors. My son devoured the wings and fried rice w/o offering a taste - meaning he enjoyed it too much to share. I also ordered a take out of Garlic Bangkok for when my wife got off her shift. It was quite good with pleasant garlicky taste and plenty of chicken, but not as intense due to the passage of time. Prices reflect post pandemic food inflation, which may eventually go down as costs recede. Our meal was over $80 with tip. Still worthwhile, but difficult to repeat as regularly as we did in the pre-COVID days. Still, the visit to Thai Chef was a happy reunion. ”
“ Tom Yum soup with no protein just veggies at level 3 spice is amazing. It's my go to item ”
“ Thai Chef and Noodle Fusion is a pretty serviceable Thai restaurant in Penndel. This was one of the first places we ate at after moving to Bucks County, so I always have nice memories of it. Parking is pretty good. They have a few spots right in front of the restaurant and there's also a few around back. They always seemed to be super busy, but we never had any issues finding a spot. The menu is mostly Thai with just a few exceptions, so I don't really get the fusion part. Regardless, the food was solid. On our last visit, we got the fried tofu, green curry fried rice, the Jungle King (basically sautéed chicken and vegetables) and finally the Pad Pat which is sautéed chicken with chili, bell peppers, onions, Thai aromatic sauce and basil. As I mentioned, pretty good food. Spice level was excellent. The Pad Pat is advertised as being 4 chili's in the menu and I told them to not hold back with white boy spicy. They did not disappoint. It was a sensational inferno in my mouth. Four stars from me. With big portions and enjoyable flavors and spice levels, you're in for a nice meal. ”
“ Surprisingly, this place was open on Christmas Eve. We came here with a party of 10 (including kids under 5). It was empty so we were seated promptly. The waitresses were attentive and got our orders quick. The food came out out in a timely manner. My family got the satay chicken skewers, healthy house soup, pad see ew, red curry with chicken and Thai tea. Our favorite was the satay chicken hands down! The chicken was well seasoned and the peanut butter sauce was delicious! The pad see ew wasn't bad but most of the noodles were broken due to being over cooked. The most disappointing was the Thai ice tea. The glass was small and it was way too sugary. There is parking in front of the restaurant but only about 6 spots. There are some in the back as well though. They also automatically add 18% tip to large parties over 5 (I believe). You also cannot use more than 2 credit cards per party. It is a bit pricey for thai food but it was decent and would probably return at some point. ”
